SIGNATURE ROAD RIDES
We have road rides several days per week during our regular season with our signature rides on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Tuesdays: 5:30 pm from the Embassy Suites Parking Lot in Tuscaloosa, various distances and speeds. Starts together then splits into groups by desired distance and speed. Fun for everyone!
Wednesdays: 5:30 pm themed rides with varying start locations, distances, and speeds.
Thursdays: 5:30 pm rides from the Embassy Suites Parking Lot that typically head northwest toward Tuscaloosa County High School.
Saturday: Varying times, distances, and locations. Cross country rides with different pace groups. A social and physical experience! Good for building endurance and getting to know other cyclists!

CHARITY, SUPPORT, GIVING
We put our money where our mouth is and support others in need.
In addition to advocating for cycling in our area, we give thousands of dollars every year to local charities and other great causes. Our recent gifts include groups such as…
The Hank Poore Foundation, the Police Athletic League, the Romulus Volunteer Fire Department, Cornelius Chapel Baptist Church, Bethel Baptist Church, and ARC of Tuscaloosa among many others!
We also support kids on bikes through donations to groups like the Tuscaloosa Mountain Flyers and Little Bellas.
We also recognize that cycling includes many different disciplines, both on and off road. We work closely with our friends in the West Alabama Mountain Bike Association to support trail building, bridge maintenance, trail signage, and other essentials so everyone can enjoy mountain and gravel biking as well. Many DCBC members are also off-road cyclists!
Finally, DCBC adopted roadways and holds clean up days that make those roads safer to ride and more pleasant for residents as well!
SAFETY AND NON-PROFIT
DCBC is a registered USA Cycling Club and 501 c3 non-profit organization. We carry a liability insurance policy* that covers all registered members on our club rides.
As a non-profit, our objective is to foster the sport of cycling locally, nationally and internationally by conducting bicycle safety education events and amateur cycling events, emphasizing community awareness, bicycle safety, competitive and sport amateur cycling, fitness and recreation.
For those with a penchant for supporting cycling advocacy through philanthropy, estate-planning, or simply want to give a little through a one-time pledge, our club has the structure in place to make a worthwhile and meaningful donation.
